Terms & Conditions for Designer Makers
Ark Heritage Terms of Business
1. The agreed participation fee is due in full before the commencement of the pop-up event. The fee amount is stipulated per location and will vary depending on the chosen operational model (e.g., vendor-managed presence or full management by Ark Heritage).
You are responsible for setting up and taking down your display on the designated days, including the labelling of all your products and completing logs while working in the shop.

2. The Artist / Exhibitor signs this agreement and agrees to pay the relevant entry fee by the requested date shown on the invoice and cancels this agreement in writing 14 days after signing the Terms of Business, but no later than 14 days before opening. After this date, we are unable to issue any refund.

3. All Artists / Exhibitors exhibit their work at their own risk and are responsible for their own insurance against loss or damage, and cover for public liability. Organisers require proof of insurance uploaded as a PDF when signing the artist agreement.

5. The space provided is one space only, that might be a table that is 140 cm x 70 cm or a shelf unit that is 70cm x 154cm x 36cm, + surrounding wall space if available and needed. However, this may be different for each location. If you wish to bring your own furniture/ equipment, this must be agreed by the organisers before setting up. We reserve the right to ask you to move any unsuitable or unsafe equipment.

6. All payments taken – including commissions agreed in the store during the opening times - at the Pop-Up are subject to a 23% commission charge, including card reader fee.

7. Full payment will be paid to the Artist / Exhibitor minus 23 % commission fees within or after 7 days of the event closing. Other pay out option may be discussed at the discretion of the organisers.

8. The organisers may arrange to have artworks photographed or shared on social media for the purposes of publicity for this event. All reproduction rights remain with the Artist / Exhibitor.

9. Alterations to sales lists and pricing after submission of lists (other than adding to the list if work is sold) can only be made with approval from the organiser.

10 . You, the Artist/Maker, are fully responsible for any Copyright Licenses required and are solely responsible for any copyright infringements.

11. If you opted for working in the store, you will be required to work shifts for the agreed days over the duration of the event, and this will be by mutual agreement with the Ark Heritage organisers.

12. You, the Artist / Maker, will be responsible for reorganising sessions that you may need to change after the final rota is drawn up.
​
13. Whilst the organisers accept there will be some minor wall space damage to walls and panels after display take down. We ask that display equipment/furniture and walls be left as it was found. A charge will be made for any reinstatement required other than minor hole repair.

14. By signing the artist agreement form, you are agreeing to accept the invitation to participate, and sell at the event. You are also confirming that you have read and understood the above 'Artist Agreement Terms & Conditions' and that you are willing to comply with them.
